Amused/The Avid Spectator

In recent times I have become interested in observing the people and things around me. I study people, the way events unfold. I sketch intently and unthinkingly. I become an avid spectator in an arena that offers up infinite degrees of wonderment.

Humans for me, make for irresistible subjects, just like they appear in my work. They're mystifying and amusing. They are self-contradictory and xenophobic oddities. They embody a multitude of mysteries that inspire an incredible array of possibilities for art making.
